Greetings all, as an English man I watched the Scottish referendum with interest. In fact, in terms of vision and romance, I was a supporter of Scotland although I knew that the dream came with consequences. I know the British government and the British media lied on a daily basis to the Scots to convince them to vote 'non' .. just as the French government and media lie on a regular basis to Normandy/Brittany and half a dozen others.

There are times when 'unity' is useful .. and times when autonomy is valuable ... which occasion is which depends very much on your personal view :)
